how long does this last

Almost 2 months ago I became dizzy(now is lack of balance) lost hearing first in one ear and then aboout a week later lost hearing in the other ear .  Went 2 times to urgent care then a week later to PCP all diagnosed vertigo.  A week later saw ENT saw no problem with my ears perscribed predinsone sent for hearing test and MRI. MRI showed no stroke or Tumor.  Had another hearing test had hearing loss in both ears;  Was sent for a hearing aid in one ear other too bad.  The lack of balance has not been addressed what is it and will it ever go away I would like to  return to  work .
Thanks

Since you don't have a 'spinning' feel or a sensation of 'movement', but rather a tendency to fall while walking, I think you have to be evaluated by a neurologist.

Your hearing should be helped by the new digital hearing aid.

I really do not have what I think of as vertigo no spinning just feel like I will fall when I walk, and just while walking. I have noises in the ear roaring, alarm type sounds and music. I walk if I have a walker to keep me from falling.  Sleep fine with pills.  I was really not sick for years before this.  I take Thyroid medication and have since the 70,s when I drank Radioactive Iodine.  I do not have my hearing aid yet (  Monday ) now as of yesterday I can no longer hear over the phone.  Hope the hearing aid works.
Thanks

You developed dizziness (now lack of balance) 2 mths back, then hearing impairment and now you have 'vertigo' with hearing impairment. MRI is normal. Audiogram showed both ears affected by hearing impairment, and you have been given a Hg aid in one ear, the other ear is too bad.

And vertigo is persisting. Is it a continuous one or just off and on? What brings it on? Is the vertigo associated with any noises or humming in the ear/s? Is there any sensation of fullness in the ear/s? Can you walk? How is your sleep? Are you a diabetic or hypertensive? Do you have any other illness?
