i need help fast!!

hi im 14/f and just got out of the emergency room the 27th i was there for about 6 hours because my tonsills and glands in my throat were huge the doctor sed i had strep throat and kissing tonsills since its the day after i thought id be getting better but my throat got worst and neither of my parents are home the medicene they gave me is ic acetaminophen-codeine eliximor and penicillin v potassium i also have a headache and have a hard time swallowing i felt much better last night and feel absolutely terrible the swelling even went down last night! wat do i do???

I would definitely go back to the doctor it its not improved.
