nose bleeding in the morning

Hi doctors, im from asian country. Thanks for spending your precious time to answer my questions below.

My father has nose bleeding recently in his morning shower. He has high blood pressure since four year ago and he is taking some high blood pressure medicine, its under control. He went to a clinic, the doctor gave him some medicine then the nose bleeds stop,it seems good. But this happen came back again after a week in the morning shower as well. Again he went to the same doctor, different medicine or treatment i guess, the problem has solved. Doctor told him if the nose bleeds ever come back again in few days time, then he suggested to see some specialist. It seems everything is good since few days has passed. He recently just got his medical report from the lab and it shows everything is good. We just worried if the nose bleeding is a sign or which is no good. This anxienty is killing me,i hope this is not a serious problem. Thank you.

There is nothing in your post that tells us key fact:  what is the weather, dry or humid?  If dry that my irritate the nasal passage which breaks loose with the humidity of the shower.

In the US we have an over the counter nose spray product called Afrin (other brands exist) that shrinks the nasal membranes when inhaled (shot into) the nose.  Try that, if it stops the bleeding, the bleeding is very minor, a second step would be to spray a cotton ball and insert that in the nose and let it set for at least 15 minutes.  Then carefully pull the cotton out.

The above is only a way to stop the bleeding, if it works.  If the bleeding problem continues you need either an environmental change, such as humidity increase (yes I read you are in an Asian country and I associate that with warm humid weather, but I mention humidity just in case).

tissue carterized of the nasal tissue may be necessary to stop the bleeding, this is a medical procedure but it may be done on an "out patient" (same day) basis, I don't know for sure.
