osteophyte at back of tongue/throat /cervical spine

Had  my MRI  but could not see anything  because of fillings in my teeth

Has anyone had any experience with this previously?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Tooth fillings may not cause problems with MRI scanning. However, they may affect the quality of the images, hence the problem with viewing osteophytes.  Was an X ray done? This may sometimes help detect osteophytes.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
