severe colds

what should i do with my colds because it already last for more than a month? I went to the doctor and gave me medicines(sudafed) but I still kept sneezing,  clogged nose but still have runny nose.  I took several medicines such as panadols, sinutabs PE but felt nothing happens.

You could very well be dealing with allergies rather than a cold - they can produce the same symptoms, but allergies will hang on longer than a cold.

I noticed you're from Australia, so I don't know what the equivalent medication would be there (I'm in the US), but check with your doctor or pharmacist about a medication similar to Benadryl or other antihistamine type medication.  you may also ask about a nasal spray called Flonase and another one called Atrovent Nasal.  I just recently went to a pulmonary doctor because of a chronic cough and multiple respiratory infections and he gave me these two nasal sprays because he said "my nose was the worst looking nose he had seen in over a month".  He's 99% sure that my cough and persistent infections are because of my nose/sinuses which he also feels is from allergies.

I'M NOT A DOCTOR OR MEDICAL PROFESSION, so please do not attempt to take these medications without first checking with your doctor - I'm simply giving some input from my own recent experience.

If it is an allergy that you're suffering from rather than a cold, one or a combination of these medications, may help.

I hope you feel better soon.
