terrible smell problem of my nose

hello.my name is zhang.
i have a terrible smell problem.the smell can come from mouth and nose and people can smell it from a very long distance especially in a room.i find that even in a pretty large room all people in the room can smell it!!
when in outside space the situation would become a little better.but when i stay in one place too long, people around me could also smell this smell almost in a distance of 7 to 10 metres.even when i sit in my own room people walk pass my window can smell something.
the smell can cause people cough and run at the nose and sneeze.most people cannt stand this smell.when they smell it,it looks as if they get cold.
i went to see a dozen of doctors.but they really cant tell why i have this problem.some of them just deny i have a smell problem and say it all in my mind.but i am quit sure that it's not just in my mind.THIS IS REAL!
besides the smell,i have a lot of nasal mucus from my nose.most time runs into my throat but sometimes out of nose.
i really can't live right now.PLEASE HELP!!!

All I know is that the metronizodale finally did work for me- but other antibiotics did not.

Perhaps you should ask for a stronger dose, or a longer course of metronizodale to try once more. It's worth it if it is causing you so much anguish and if the condition is becoming more severe it may need a more drastic dose to eliminate it.

I had only finished the course of pencillin (which did nothing) the doctor had given me about a month before I finally asked the dentist for the metronizodale as I was getting desperate. He wasn't convinced I needed it as he could see no problems with my teeth but it was what finally worked.

He had prescribed it some years ago for a tooth infection and I began to become more convinced there was a link between the previous tooth infection (even though it was a long time ago) and my sinuses. I felt something hadn't cleared up properly and the smell was some sort of infected link that was still lingering between tooth and sinus cavities.

I have been free of the condition for more than six months now after I took the course of metronizodale. I've kept the details of the medication though in case I ever experience the problem again.

Thanks for ur help.
I have already taken metronidazole but it didn't work.My dentist said that my teeth seemed fine.and i hardly feel any pain or something else of my teeth.
My nose problem is more clear. As I said,i have a lot of nasal mucus from my nose.most time runs into my throat but sometimes out of nose.
But somebody say that the nose problem is caused by my own smell.
I really don't know what to do.And my life is really hard after i had this problem.
I really need your help and I will waiting for your reply.Thank you very much.

Could it be caused by a possible but maybe non-obvious dental problem? I had a similar experience on and off for three years and was desperately unhappy about. Like you my doctor was sceptical. My doctor did prescribe some pencillin type antibiotics but they didn't help.

In the end (when I started to suspect it might be a dental problem) my dentist agreed to give me an antibiotic (reluctantly) - called Metronidazole (400mg tablets x 15 which I took 3 times a day for 5 days). I was absolutely fanatical about taking them at the correct time and was careful not to drink alcohol etc. I was desperate. And it worked !

For the first time in a very long time the absolute relief of no longer having that dreadful smell in my nose and the associated nasal drip etc has been life changing. Apparently, nobody else could detect any smell even though I was sure they could. However, for me, that revolting smell always with me was utterly devastating.

Ask your dentist or doctor to try metronidazole. You may of course have a different problem but I think mine simply stemmed from a tooth infection whch never quite cleared up properly. I also felt some sinus pain on one side so knew there was something wrong but it took a long time to figure it out.

Good luck.
