Advice on hearing

Nearly 20 years ago I developed tinnitus in my right ear and lost my hearing. I have lost 70% of hearing in right ear. The remaining 30% is no use as only pick v high pitched or very low tone. The tinnitus is permanently there. About 10 years ago I developed glue ear in my left ear. Had a grommet fitted which fell out as expected after a year. Around 18 months ago ear drum perforated in left ear. Perforation is not healing spontaneously. I have had recurrent middle ear infections in left ear. I have scar tissue in left ear.I have had various diagnosis over the years inc menieres, BPPV, crystals. My question is what is the impact of continued ear infections in only one remaining hearing ear? I'm 47
Thanks for any advice.
