Chronic Imbalance

Hi I am a 22 year old male.  I have suffering from constant imbalance symptoms for about a year and a half now.  It started one day randomly and would come and go for a few weeks.  It then stayed constant for the past year or so.  It will get better or worse depending on the time or day, but it never fully goes away.  I have had pretty much every test done.  I tried Meclazine and Valium in the beginning.  I was also on zoloft for about 6 months because I developed a lot of anxiety from this.  I recently saw a balance specialist that thinks I have a hypersensitive ear (kind of like the feeling when you get off a roller coaster).  He gave me promethazine, belladonna, and ativan to try but haven't fully cured me.  I am going back to take another test on Monday, but I have to discontinue the ativan.  Since I have been trying to stop this I have been extremely imbalanced and dizzy to the point where I don't want to get out of bed.

I am not sure if this could be related in any way, but I have been suffering from a constant forearm twitch which has now progressed to somewhat cramping in my hand and arm.  I have seen a Neuro and got an EMG done, which yielded nerve damage around my elbow.  This has really got me on my last nerve and I have developed serious anger problems because of it.  If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.  Tests that I have had over the past year include: a host of ear stuff and heart stuff, EEG, blood work, MRI of head and neck, EMG.

yeah dizziness and vertigo can be caused by all sorts of stuff.  At least BPPV can usually be cured pretty easily with physical therapy.  If the dizziness feeling gets worse or better with changes in head position then it is probably something to do with your inner ear (semicircular canals).  I know poor posture can have some effect on dizziness and vertigo as well.

I forgot to describe my imbalance feeling.  It has never actually made me loss my balance and fall.  It typically is only bad when I am walking or moving around; I am usually fine while I am driving, but it will get worse after a long car ride or a plane ride.  It sometimes can get bad enough to where it has felt like I was hallucinating (such as wall moving, floor rocking around).
