SINUSIS PLEASE HELP

HEY PEOPLE!!!

IVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE OVER THE LAST 4 YEARS WITH EAR PROBLEMS (PRESSURE, POPPING, UNABLE TO EQUALIZE) AND IVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS WITH GROMMETS ETC...IVE BEEN LOOKING UP "SINUSIS" AND SOME OF THE SYMPTOMS I HAVE MATCH SINUSIS AND EUSTATION TUBE DYSFUNCTION

FURTHERMORE, I HAVE PRESSURE AROUND THE HEAD, EARS ETC,WHICH IS NOW AND THEN.

DO YOU THINK I HAVE SINUSIS RATHER THAN EUSTATION TUBE DYSFUNCTION, WHICH IM ALWAYS TREATED WITH?? OR ARE THEY REALTED?? CAN TREATED SINUSIS BENEFIT THE EUSTATION TUBE, OR EVEB EARS??

ANY COMMENTS ARE GOOD

THANKYOU

Hey there Torque, you seem to know what you are talking about. What symptoms do you get? I get pressure around the head, clogged ears, feeling of ear presure and Eustation tube dysfunction.

Im currently on Flixonase to treat any allergies affecting my sinuses and ears, which is not working. I have seen an ENT specialist and they say i have sinusis and eustation tube dysfunction, however, i have had grommets put in several times and no success afterwards (4 in each ear).

Has your ears and Sinusis improved with flonase? Did your doctor say there was a relationship between the two? And how are you trating your non-allergic rhintis?

Sorry to write alot, if you can reply, much appreciated

Thankyou

Well, for me it started with sinus problems.I would get sinus headaches and pain in my ears. When my sinuses become inflamed, it screws up my eustachian tube- causing the "dysfunction". My ears will start to feel plugged, I might feel fluid in there. I will get dizzy, and feel like my head is not attached. I had allergy tests done- all negative, so I know it is not that. So, I have non-allergic rhinitis. when I get stressed out or dont exericise, I notice a flare up. I take flonase for a couple of days and it seems to get better.

So you should have allergy tests done to see if it is that first. You might have problems with your sinuses causing the ETD. I would see an ENT if you havent already. both my general doc and my ENT said to use Flonase to help with the ETD. I hope this helps!!! Best of luck to you!!
