Head pressure, ear pressure, dizziness

Hello, I am a 25 year old male. Recently I went on a Family Vacation where we went Jet Skiing and Tubing and some other fun stuff. I had some symptoms that started, I started with a mild head pain on the top of the left side of my head, and that started 19 days ago. Since then the symptoms of whatever is wrong have gotten worse. Then it went to Chronic head pressure like my head was going to explode as well as constant ear pressure with popping and eye pain, and I get this weird feeling all the time, it is kind of like dizziness but its not, I just dont feel normal and everything I look at kind of feels like a dream. It is a weird feeling that is for sure.

So first thing I did was go to Urgent care and told the doctor all the symptoms and he thought it might be a sinus infection, but I told him my mom had a acoustic neuroma so he didnt want to rule out the chance of a tumor. Which obviously scared the crap out of me. So then I went to see my primary doctor who said he thought it was due to the jet skiing and tubing that I did. I tried to work with the symptoms but they progressively got worse so then I went into the ER where they did a CT scan without contrast (which came back normal) and they said they thought it was also due to the tubing and jet skiing. But then I started getting these crazy panic attacks, i would wake up in the middle of the night with my heart burning and beating so quick and just constantly shaking. I really didnt know what to do so I went to the Urgent care once again and they said they couldnt order me an MRI but she did give me some zanax for anxiety which has helped me to sleep a lot better.

Yesterday I went and saw my primary doctor who says he feels like I have to much anxiety but he did order me an Immediate MRI with and without Contrast, 20 min after the MRI was done the doctor called me Immediately and said that the results came back totally Normal. Which was a relief. He told me to relax.

I really am not getting any answers on why my head has this constant pressure as well as my ears, my ears are popping like crazy and I always feel this weird dizzy feeling the whole time. Not to mention I am constipated beyond belief and am pretty worried on whatever it could be. And I am dropping weight quite quick. So I dont know what the next step is I should take. I am def glad the MRI and CT came back negative for tumors but nothing is helping these symptoms.

I need answers, just found out my wife is pregnant with our first child and I am really worried about my health because I dont want something bad to happen to me so I can be there for my kid. Please help?

ALso when I lay down and sleep the pressure is gone and I feel normal, but once I get up it comes right back. I dont get it. And I get some headaches with different movement and stuff.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

Inflammation in the nose and sinuses can cause inflammation around the Eustachian tube, which is the tube that runs from the back of the nose to the middle ear and is responsible for draining the middle ear of fluid.  If there is Eustachian tube dysfunction from nose or sinus inflammation, fluid can remain in the middle ear which can lead to dizziness. You will need to consult your primary care physician for proper assessment. In the meantime practice good breathing exercises, humidify your room and do steam inhalations.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Sounds like a inner ear issue/eustachian tube issue.

Have you seen an ENT Specialist?
