Thanks for your quick reply. Googled on SCD and I hope it does not apply to me. However from what I read it is not very likely it does.
The only thing I have is a feeling of fullness in my right ear. This is however such a common symptom that I nor the doctors can deduce anything from it.
To come back to my initial question: form what I feel I am convinced it has to do something with the my right Eustachian tube. As I do not have enough knowledge about it I can not draw more conclusions from my feeling / discomfort. As you said: is it closed over the whole length or only at some very small point? The pictures suggest the latter. Info like this could help me a lot.
Do you have a way to see your tubes? I'd guess not which would suggest having a picture of a close tube wouldn't make a difference. However, if you can imagine the open tube pictures you do see on the net, just close it flat, I'd assume down the entire length.
I have an inner ear problem that not too long ago was misdiagnosed as a whole slew of other problems. In fact it wasn't till 1998 when the first paper was wrote about this inner ear problem and it wasn't till this year when ear specialists began to take the diagnosis serious. Some Dr.s still don't know much about it
Look up Semicircular Canal Dehiscence. People with this problem don't share all of the same symptoms, an example, I haven't got dizzy till recently and I've had the bigger symptoms since 2006.
Of course, with all ear problems, they all share very similar symptoms and it is very hard to diagnose one from another so SCD is just one of many possibilities which you may or may not have.
