no air fluid levels shown on my sinus CT scan
1. There are patent ostiomeatal complexes.
2. Mucoperiosteal thickening at the base of the left maxillary antrum is seen on the axial images, with signs of a posterior, possibly superior mucous retention cyst in the left maxillary antrum.
3. No air-fluid levels are seen.
4. 20% mid-ethmoidal sinus opacification is evident
1.bony sinus structures near the inner ear
2.sinus infection benign cyst LT slightlyabove top teeth
3.that means you dont have alot of mucus causing air fluid levels on ct scan. not congested.
4.ethmoid sinus is located somewhere posterior the eyes, 20 percent opac... 80 percent clear..
I would suggest that you call your Dr. office who performed this and ask that this be explained to you in laymen's terms. It is within your right, to understand what was said of your condition.
