bloody mucus in nose

Okay so this morning before my shower i blew my nose, and there was blood in my mucus. Im just wondering if i should be concerned or not. I dont have a cold right now, let alone I've never experienced a bloody nose ever, this is the closest that its gotten, I do not sleep near or have an air conditioner in my home either.

If it was a small amount and one time only,  I would not worry about it.  If it is persistent, I would seek the advice of your physician.  This can happen on ocassion.

Hi,

Do not worry this is sometimes normal to see blood in the mucus. Many a times when we blow our nose there will be submucosal bleeding because of the force we exert. Drink plenty of water, do not blow your nose forcefully hereafter. Any more doubts, you are welcome.

I don't think that is anything to worry about unless it gets heavy or continues on a regular basis.  Actually, due to it being Winter and the air is so dry inside the house, I've been having some nose bleeds also.  I've started running a humidifier at night in the bedroom and that helps.  May be just dry nasal passages.  You might try using some Saline nasal spray to add some moisture.
