On Sunday morning I woke up not being able to hear out of my right ear. My husband and I decided to purchase Debrox Earwax Removal Aid drops. I've been applying them twice a day beginning that Sunday night, since I had already applied another general ear wax removal aid (drops) in the morning. I am still not able to hear 100%, I have certain sensations like the sound of sand in a bag being shaken or radio static. It's kind of hard to make out at times. That usually occurs with loud noises or walking around. Accompanied with that, instantaneously, my vision shakes.
I began with a cold 2 weeks ago, upper respiratory congestion. I would consider that a normal cold for me. It started going away and suddenly I woke up deaf in one ear! I began to panic. Anyway, I'm also still unable to hear low pitches and find myself not being able to make out certain sounds. I'm constantly asking, "what was that noise"? Ok I'm annoyed. Honestly I don't think it's just ear wax because of the symptoms I'm getting. I've had no pain nor fever.
I'm going to attempt to walk-in the doctor's office on Friday to have it checked. Is it just ear wax? Oh gosh, I just thought my husband's voice was a woman's LOL!!! Answers? Suggestions?
Here's a pic my husband took, yes it looks like something is logged in there but all we can see is wax...I'm thinking it's my ear drum...
