Turbinate reduction...dry sinuses

I had a turbinate reduction along with a tonsillectomy earlier this year. Now that it has started getting cold and also a few times before I find myself waking up with my nose and mouth so dry that it almost hurts. Does this happen to anyone else? If so do you have any suggestions on how to stop it?
