I have never been able to blow my nose and I have a lot of allergies, I cannot use antihistamines because that just dries our the mucus and I can breathe. I have used mucus relief medicine to help keep the mucus moist and I have to try and sniff it bad into my throat that gives me a sore throat a lot.
ok, so im a minor, idl ike to not disclose my age, but in school, for covid testing, they asked me to blow my nose before sticking the cotton swab up it, and i knew i couldn't. because i never can. if i try I'm just let air out or make a snort sound, but it doesn't cause any issues. i just cant blow my nose and ppl make fun of me when i tell them. i was also never taught HOW to blow my nose SOOO IDK what I'm doing anymore honestly :')
I also have never been able to blow my nose and I constantly have issues with it being clogged and I can't breathe very well through my nose. I have to resort to picking and sticking tissues up it to get the congestion out. Only when people aren't around of course. I often get bloody noses from trying to clear it all out tho.
Had this problem my whole life, as a result I have suffered breathing problems, headaches that last months and about 10 cold and flu bouts a year.
My daughter is 29 and has never been able to blow her nose. I was on here looking it up when I came across this post.
My daughter is 22 yrs old and has never blown her nose either. I don't know how she gets along having never done it. When she does get a runny nose all she does when she's home anyway thank God, is stuff pieces of tissues in them. I call them walrus tusks lol.
I am 45 and have never been able to blow my nose either. When i blow nothing happens. People have tried to teach me. I have nothing wrong with my sinuses and luckily rarely get colds. But when I do its annoying
I have the exact same problem as you. I try and try but nothing happens. I get insulted by my own family because of it. It is difficult and I am stuck with suggestions to help myself. I have been like this all through my life. I am only 18.
Hi, thanks for your reply. It just feels constantly blocked. When I try nothing happens.
Hi, thanks for your response. Yes it can be difficult sometimes.
Is it because it's stuffed up and you can't get anything out? Or you actually can't make the attempt to blow it, or it hurts?
Jules, I have never heard of that... That must be difficult for you.
