I've noticed a fluttering in my left ear...almost like the sound one has when water remains in the ear after swimming. This fluttering sound only occurs when I'm massaging a part of my body - wrist, muscles, joints, etc. This fluttering is not accompanied by pain. About a year ago, I could hear a fluttering in my ear when I lay on my left side. After reporting this to the doc, a few months later, I awoke to find a bit of fluid coming out of my ear. It did not smell and was not discolored. Could this recent fluttering sound be the same thing? Why does it occur only during massaging wrist, knee area, quads, etc. I am concerned that this may be related to blood vessel issue. Please help.
