ear noise, ear fullness, top gum bleeds when flossing

My left ear hums inside sounding like an industrial electric breaker box, humming like an electrical current sound, also when on telephone, people sound different, deeper voices. When i take my finger and plunger my ear, the fullness seems to feel better and the humming noise quiets down. 2 months of this noise after going to a worthless dentist that wanted to take out all my silver cavity fillings and replace with white filling, I refused then went to a ear, nose throat specialist wanting my ears flushed, they gave me hearing test and told me loss of hearing that I already new in that ear, then the doctor refused to try anything, told me brain tumor and told me (mri) to see the tumor and to get a hearing aid. My insurance is crap and mri will cost me a lot, I was hoping to rule out other things, and did not feel a hearing test would give reason to just say its a brain cyst or tumor. Today I notice when placing finger in my ear, the bottom of my ear hole seems to have a bump, barely noticeable, but from my left ear to right ear i can feel a difference in the opening and the slight restriction seems to be coming from the bottom of my ear. My back teeth on top below the ear have been sensitive, when I floss the gum bleeds and seems like pieces of the gum between the teeth are on the floss. That is why I first went to the dentist, However the dentist seem to hear nothing of my complaints, When I was leaving dentist office, the receptionist said, no the dentist isnt going to do nothing to the sore tooth, he wants to take all your silver fillings out and replace with the white composite fillings, I ask how this will help my gum, ear and sensitivity, She replied, the while fillings are less sensitive. I have had sinus problems and allergies all my life with dryness, dry eyes,  and only can breath out of 1 nostril at a time usual. My eyes matter over and blurs my vision. Last time yrs ago I seen an eye doctor, she told me I had (MS) the sent me to brain specialist, he told me yes probably ms, we will do an (mra) mri scan, and that if its not (ms) then its busted vessles in the brain, the slow vessles are busted into the fast and destroying everything in there path, blind in a year, and death. I went for his (mri) to hear back nothing. So I called, the nurse then say we did not call as we found nothing, doc said must be sinuses.  I DO NOT WANT TO GO THREW THAT WHOLE ORDEAL ALL OVER AGAIN, GETTING BILLED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN MEDICAL, THEN NOT EVEN CALLED WITH RESULTS WHEN IT WAS NOTHING. I turn the tv loud and forget the noise, trying not to think about it and I do not know what to do. I believe a big part of this poor medical care is because Walmart is emplyer health insurance, and they pick the doctors, dentist that you are aloud to go to. They are self insured and use blue cross blue shield as there writer and they are in control of what gets paid denied. I owe thousands of dollars on a pre cancer test my wife had, after the company made an announcement that they would cover cancer screenings if it runs in the family. After getting the test they said they would cover in the health insurance, the bills keep coming and the insurance is not covering.

Thank You for this information. The ear specialist wants me to do an mra and thinks its a brain tumor. The stress of thinking about this I bought a pack of cigarettes, and the smoking quiets down the buzzing noise. The noise has lesson or quited down some unless I strain for now.
Thank's again for taking the time to respond.
Sincerely
Tad

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.

Understand your predicament. But the ear noises may not be related to the gum problems. The ringing sound you hear is called Tinnitus. It occurs with disorders affecting the external, the middle or the inner ear. In the outer ears cerumen impaction or external otitis,  in the middle ear fluid collection or  disease of the tympanic membrane and in the inner ear damage to the nerve endings can cause tinnitus. As a result of these disorders the external sounds are masked leading to awareness of normal body sounds.  You will need to consult your primary care physician for further evaluation, who may then refer you to an ENT specialist. An ENT examination, auditory brain stem response (ABR), a computerized test of the hearing nerves and brain pathways and CT/MRI brain may be needed to diagnose the cause for tinnitus. Treatment lies in treating the underlying cause.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
