i dislike doctors/hospitals, and would prefer to not have to see one

i recently did a face/forehead plant. yes alcohol was involved. i cleaned out the "road rash" with saline and have treated my bruised knee appropriately.  and my nose is not broken, all the bones feel correct. i do have a small bruise that has appeared on my right brow after the swelling has gone away. but now when i blow my nose, blood clots come out with the mucus. is this serious?
any advice would be much appreciated! cheers!

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Nose bleeding can be due to injury to the cartilage or the mucosa, but in cases of trauma, it could also indicate an intracranial cause, so when in doubt best to have it checked with your doctor. Consult him at the earliest.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Sometimes you do have to go to the doctor.

The first 3 drinks at a sitting can be beneficial to your brain and well-being, but every drink afterwards affects your brain chemistry differently, and adversely.  That's why I serve a glass of icewater with every adult beverage.

Glad to hear your nose is not broken
