I'm so glad that your doctors said you don't have ENS, that is such good news for you!

There is a nose drop, Ponaris, that might help you quite a bit.  I think you should ask your doctor about it (it's non-prescription but I had to ask for it at a pharmacy; they kept it behind the counter).  Also, use a humidifier and I've seen saline gels that you can apply to the inside of your nose.  All of these things are non-prescription.

And please keep in mind that nasal surgeries can take six months to a year to fully heal properly.  Maybe you just need to give it some more time.

maybe needs time..i did have three nose surgeries one in march 20006 for a septum, then may 2006 to fix the septum again cuase it didn't work the first time, then sept 20006 the sinus one..hopefully it just needs time to recover and get back to normal...

Wow, three in that short of a time!  I had two within seven months myself.

I had remembered something.  I had heavy, dry crusting in my nostrils the first month after my second surgery.  My doctor told me to rub bacitracin gel, a topical gel antiobiotic, inside my nostrils.  It worked WONDERS!  But, another thing I remember, is that it took a good two or three months before I felt my turbs start to "work" again in that I started to feel them swell and contract in cycles.  I have to wonder if having three surgeries so close together and this being only a few months since you last if maybe your turbs aren't still kind of "paralyzed" like I think mine were for a while.  (That's not medical; that's just a guess based on what I remember.)

Ask your doctor about bacitracin gel.  I was able to get it over the counter.  I couldn't believe how well it worked to slough off the crusting and deeply moisturize the inside of my lower nostrils.  My healing seemed to speed up after that.
