septoplasty for child

This is re:  a 14 year old 6 foot tall girl.  She has sympomatic septal deviation 80% on one side.  Seriously considering getting it fixed.  Any good reasons NOT to?  Thanks!

i'd do it but don't do sinus surgery if they ask..the septum surgery is a bit uncomfortable but no biggy as there is only a splint in there and mine was only in for two days and mine is straight and perfect now but living hell right now about two plus months after sinus surgery..so just do the septum if they say lets trima bit of the sinus just say NO NO NO NO NO and NO
