Sinusitis and inflammation in the nasal cavities can cause problems with equalization of the middle ears (via the eustacian tube opening up behind the nasal cavity). Eustacian tube dysfunction can lead to ear fullness, fluid in the ears, decreased hearing, etc. You would benefit from an evaluation from an ent to examine your sinuses as well as make sure you are not having a simultaneous balance issue. Best wishes.
Thanks for advising me on what to do.
I was that bad on wednesday that my doctor came around to help me and see what i had. She says that i have a sinuse infection. So she gave me antibiotics to help clear the sinuses. She also gave me stemetil to help with the dizzyness and sickness.
Since i been taking the antibiotics, i do feel slightly better. I have a weeks worth of them, so next thursday i have another appointment with the doctor to see how I been.
Did anyone ever comment on the "fuzzy headed" symptom? I had a question along the same lines "feeling spaced out," and no one ever answered my question. So I am asking if sinuses can cause you to feel "spaced out?" I hope everything works out for you tycoon.
My son has had pressure behind his eyes and in the back of his head for 1.5 years now. This does cause him mental difficulties, brain fog, etc. He has seen many doctors and just had his 2nd MRI with nothing being found. he goes back to his internist in 2 days to see what course to pursue, but we thinking an EMT is the next step. I have been searching this weekend and have found several references to some type of sinus or eart pressure that seems to be causign others to have thinking problems.
