Asthma caused by sinus drainage?

For more than 30 years, Doctors have commented on how much my sinus drains.

My hubby and I were at a restaurant over 25 years ago and they were cleaning their A/C ducts. My eyes stung, my throat burned and I started a small "tickle cough". My husband (then didn't understand allergies) said I'd get used to it as we'd already ordered!  Other's were coughing too.  No one I ask will tell me what they USED to use for cleaning of air duct work in A/C ducts (commerical ).

From that late afternoon--I have had a tickle cough (you can hear on our 25th anniversary video (1987) this tickle cough then started to inflame my bronchial area and I started wheezing (only during a bad allergy season)--but they diagnosed me with ASTHMA.  I know that when coughing starts IF I don't swallow--I DON'T COUGH!

I keep asking if it couldn't be caused by sinus drainage NO from the bronchial area originally!  No one will answer me. I have had sinus x/ray (showed an infection once but nothing else).  My family doctor says I shouldn't "live" on decongestants at my age---(65) what to do?  TIRED OF COUGHING!

you should really try a nasal irrigation, called Nielmed. it works wonders!! it cleans out all the junk u breath in out of ur sinuses! and eat lots of unpealed apples. they are great for allergies and if u eat 5 a week, ur less likely to get an asthma attack. but eat the peel too!! thats where the beneficiall fibers are.God bless u!=D

I can only tell that I myself got allergic to air condition also with asthmatic component and it all started after a year of work in an old building with an old air condition full of mould and dust.
