5 Days Post Cataract Surgery

I had my vitrectomy 6 months ago and I am now 5 days post cataract surgery for a posterior subcapsular cataract that developed after the vitrectomy. My vision is still blurry. Was my cataract surgery a failure?

Given your history. it will likely be 4-6 months before the final results of your cataract surgery are known.  Even with a normal eye and routine surgery 5 days post op is too soon to decide how successful the surgery was.
