6 yr old rolls eyes to back of head and shakes his head

6 year old boy rolls his eyes to back of his head and shakes his head pretty hard. what could be causing it?

If it is a new and consistent thing then take him to your pediatrician for an examination.

IT ISN'T ALTOGETHER NEW. HE STARTED OUT BLINKING EXCESSIVELY AND IT HAS PROGRESSED TO THE HEAD SHAKING AND ROLLING EYES. HIS PED. SAID IT IS ALLERGIES AND PRESCRIBED ANTIHISTAMINE DROPS. HE ALSO SAID HE MAY HAVE A TIC,"NOT THE BAD KIND" AND THAT THIS IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR A CHILD THIS AGE. WHAT DO YOU THINK? THANKS
