Another Tetraflex or not?

My questions are as following :-
(1)   I have implanted Tetraflex accommodative lens in my right eye for 1 year and 4 months already but still  have periorbital discomfort and pain after surgery.  The reason of causing dicomfort and pain is unknown even though I had consulted many doctors.  Should I implant the same Tetraflex lens to the left eye or implant another long-standing approved aspheric lens/accommodative lens?
(2)   The operated eye is good for distance vision but not good for the near vision.  Should I try to adjust or make some concession for reading with the left eye?  In such case,  will the eyes  easily get tired and dried-up or not ? My eyes are always very dry already,  normal range is 10 -20 but my eyes are 5 - 6 only.

One last thing - you might consider an aspheric monofocal lens in second eye - since you really didn't get much of the intended effect in first eye.  The proof is in the pudding.

The jury is still out on Tetraflex in United States.  At best it may provide a small amount of near vision (in my opinion.)  Often with lenses like this the surgeon needs to plan on mini-monovision in which one eye is purposely left a little nearsighted.  That is an option for you but I would only do the nearsighted eye for your non-dominant eye and only go about -0.75 at most and make sure you try a contact lens on as a trial to simulate the predicted nearsighted result.  Keep your expectations low with Tetraflex as far as near vision - and you can be very happy.  The dry eye situation needs to be carefully addressed and this could help with pains around the eye.
