left eye swollen only

In the past 2 years my left eye has swollen. In the morning its worst and get better as the day goes by. I have gone to the best doctors in the Dc area. I have had MRI done blood test and many more test. The test have come back clean. I do not know what to do next. Maybe a biopsy of the swollen area. I still have to take an allergy test. Hopefully its an allergy and I can come to a closer with this problem. If I find out anything else I will post it.

I should think an allergy would affect both eyes.

I know this is an old posting, but i just began having this problem about 4 days go.. Each morning, I've been waking up to a swollen left eye. Just like you, it goes down slightly throughout the day but each morning I awaken, it's big again.. It doesn't really irritate me or anything. At times, my eye is sensitive to light though. I have scheduled an appointment with the Ear Nose & throat Doctor and my eye doctor.. Hopefully, i'll find something out.
