Blurred vision, right eye only

Hi, I have this strange problem in my right eye only.
In my right eye, I see a perfect circle in the center of my vision.
If I stare at a white wall and blink, it appears, as if I was staring a bright light for too long.
It has a purple-ish tint to it, and everything within that circle is blurry and slightly smaller about 10-20% kinda how everything starts to look when you're about to faint.
My peripheral vision on that same eye is perfect.
Also, everything within that circle seems to have a purple-ish haze to it, and all colors look slightly different, but the colors are normal in my peripheral vision.
I have no pain at all, it just feels sometimes as if i have water in my eye but it never goes away.
It's been like this for about 10 days now.

Does anyone know what this is, or the cause of it?
And if there is possibly a cure, or if there's anything i should do??
Thank you for taking the time!

Hi,

I have the same problem in my right eye only my circle does not distort anything as much as yours it just makes everything within the circle look like I am viewing under candlelight versus full light. Same purple colour too when I close my eye or squint. I have had this since Dec 30.

Did you find out what your problem is, or hopefully for you, was? CSR (Central Serous Rentinopathy) was mentioned to me but that is not much help as it is supposed to be a stress related problem involving a leak of fluid near the macula (correct me anyone if I am not being accurate enough) that normally will go away and unfortunately may sometimes recur.

I have not had an angiogram yet to show if I have a leak and where....but I understand one should get it done.

Please let me know how you have done and what has happened.

THANKS,
Melanie

There is some urgency to seeing an Eye MD physician-ophthalmologist as this sound like more than just a floater. It could be blood vessel or macular problems on the baack of the eye. Do it not. It could be a threat to your vision.
