Blurry Line

every couple of months, i will get this strange when im focusing on text on computer or paper

the blur is like a semi circle line which starts small and gradually gets larger and eventually moves out to the edge of my eye and dissapers

it can go on for about 15 minutes, im really worried, i went to the opticians recently for an eye examintion and everything was fine

what is this blur, is it serious?

Sounds to me like an ocular migraine.  One of the symptoms there is seeing auras (often jagged half circles).  It's a neurological "disorder". Look it up.

Depending on your age or health it could be an eye migraine or a transient ischemic attack (TIA) due to disease of the eye, brain, heart of blood vessels.

i am 17 years old, and i looked up ocular migraine

im pretty sure this is what i have, how can it be treated?

Depends on how often its a problem. Many people have episodes once every 6 to 12 months. that doesn't require RX. Some have several times that does. Treatment is with medication to either abort and attack or medicines taken regular that prevent an attack from occuring. I suggest you go in to see your family MD
