Bright flashes of light

by Bruce369, Jul 05, 2009 09:51PM
For the past week I have noticed bright flashes of light mostly in my right eye.  It appears in the lower part of my eye, seems to move upward and then vanishes.  It happens anytime, sitting, walking or sleeping.  It lasts for a moment and then it leaves.  No pain involved just nerve racking.

You need to see an ophthalmologist as this can represent damage to the retina. Find an Eye MD at www.aao.org
