Could be some residual swelling of the retina (macular edema), could be some off axis orientation of the toric IOLs, could represent previous damage to the optic nerve.

Thanks for the information. Any thoughts on the issue that one eye is seeing things with a more red hue than the other?
The IOLs would not cause these symptoms and they suggest ocular surface problems related to tear quality.
I suggest you get a second opinion from another Eye MD. Find one at www.aao.org
When you go in tell the technicians that you suspect "dry eyes-tears dysfunction" and ask the Eye MD to look at your eyes BEFORE any drops are put in your eye. Ask the Eye MD about a schirmer tear test.
I believe you might benefit from regular use (4 or more time/day) use of artifical tears and a 4-5 month trial of ReStasis.
You can use the search feature and look up "restasis" and "dry eyes"

Hi,
I am a community leader here. I do not know much about IOLs. Buthe the doctor knows a lot, and should answer you tomorrow.
I hope you can find a solution. I know that you must be very uncomfortable.
This is Steve again. I forgot to mention one other strange symptom. When watching television I noticed that one eye is seeing the picture tonal qualities as much redder than the other. I have a when I look at a light that tells me whether my phone is on or off, the right eye shows the light to be orange, and the left eye shows it to be red.
