CMV Infection Vision Loss (undiagnosed hiv) How To Find A HIV experienced Ophtomologist?

Hi i've had growing medical concerns for a few years now and it is so horrible that i now see floaters all across my vision and cannot balance correctly walking around.  I also cannot digest food very well and have to avoid most all refined grains and other foods that i have eaten freely all my life.

This wide range of symptoms has seemed to me to be something like hiv... but for whatever reason i dont test positive for aids and I've been tested 3-4 times within the past 6 years (the last time within a year ago).  I did however 2 years back have a small hpv wart on my shaft in the dangerous area (the skin that would be my circumsized foreskin) and I have read that form of hpv can lead to penile cancers and that severe hpv can cause aids-like symptoms...  how do you get diagnosed for that? Every doctor i bring this up to looks at me like im completely insane and I've seen 3 urologists and they will not diagnose me with it even though I have had skin changes to my glans and also under my eyelids and my balance, vision, and digestion are horrible. :/

Anyways... im horrified im losing my vision.  I dont know what to do.  I read about some possibility of repairing a retinal detachment, but i dont even know if i have that.  I read it is important to consult an HIV experienced ophtomalogist when diagnosing cmv and retinal detachment caused by a comprimised immune system (which i seemingly definitely have).

how do i find one such doctor?!  I live in the san jose california area and I have tried to type in hiv experienced ophthamologist but i get no results.  Just some articles which say that it is important to consult with an hiv- experienced ophtomologist...so....  how do i find a doctor that might actually be familiar with this kind of horrific situation?  the floaters in my vision grow day by day and i am just horrified of going blind.

HIV is not that uncommon and most retina surgeons will have some experience with it. Otherwise the suggestion to go to the AIDS forum is a good one.
