CRVO but EYLEA doesnt work out for me. Also, darkening vision

My father was diagnosed with eye stroke which cause his vision worsening. He used to see quite clear before the eye stroke but now barely can see his own finger . Doctor said the retina is swollen (macular edeme) and gave him Eylea eye injection on 24.11.2022. His vision slightly clearer on the next day 25.11.2022 but then continue deteriorating the following days. The vision is darkening day by day. Consulted doctor  after a week and doctor said the Eylea injection doesn't workout and retina still swollen. Scanning shows CRVO and blood  spots in the eye. Doctor suggested to wait the retina to heal itself before taking any further treatment such as laser PRP and next injection.
Anyone has same experience where Eylea doesn't work out  and wait the retina to resolved itself?
Also, anyone has darkening vision day by day? where the environment and surrounding look like night time all the day?

PLEASE HELP as my father is seriously emotional stress with his condition. he has no motivation to live on .

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
a CENTRAL RETINAL VEIN OCCLUSION (CRVO) left untreated  usually results in loss of all or most vision. Eylea was approved for CRVo in 2014.  It usually takes multiple injections done once every 4 weeks to see if it is helpful.  So if it is used multiple shots will be necessary. While it can improve most CRVO it does not help all and if it helps often does not restore good/normal vision.  You will need to discuss with his ophthalmologist or get a second opinion. THE IMPORTANT THING IS PROTECT THE OTHER EYE AND THE ONE WITH CRVO WILL NOT LIKELY PROVIDE FUNCTIONAL VISION.
