Post-cataract surgery

My father is 82 years old. He recently (one week before) got cataract + glaucoma surgery. However, after surgery, he sees lot of flash light when he removes dark glass. With dark glass, he is able to see only shadow of objects without color. Doctor told us on the next day of surgery that he will restore vision after one month. Can you please help me by replying what to do now?

I have had cataract surgery in both eyes and very unhappy with it all com pared with what I hear from other people.  My eyes burn, very light sensitive, dont focus properly, even with glasses on I feel I am always looking through dirty glasses.  I see cloudiness and blotches and even distorted images that seem to be in pieces instead of one image, i.e. a disturbed picture puzzle.
I am so sorry I have this done.
Anyone else having this problem?
Can the surgery be redone?.  They keep telling me there is nothing wrong, as my vision tests are ok, so it is not actually being able to make out the letters on the vision test, but when I use my eyes as one normally does that this is constant and much worse by the end of the day.

There's nothing I can do. I can't tell you anthing about your father's case because I can't see his eye. Cataract plus glaucoma surgery is big time, complex surgery with many possible complications. Its not like just cataract/IOL surgery
