Can I play Bassketball after getting retinal detachments?

Hi,

I am 30 years old guy. I had a retinal detachment a months ago. Doctor said there are 3 holes in my right eye retinal and cause the retinal detachment. My questions is can I play basketball after getting retinal detachment surgery? How long I need to rest before I can go for sports?

Only your retina surgeon can answer these questions. Generally after full healing most retina surgeons would allow you to return but insist you wear protective eye goggles.
