Detached retina & sinus

My retina detached October 25, 2007 resulting in having laser surgery December 16, 2007 to repair a hole in my macula resulting from the detachment.  My vision is still blurry and I suffer what I call "orb" aches--intense pain around the eye that was affected.  Sometimes the pain travels down to my jaw, sometimes to my ear, sometimes to my forehead.  Is this pain sinus?  Is there any connection to having a detached retina and increased sinus pain?

I am not a doctor==but a patient. When Dr. Hagan answers you, he could recommend another specialist. Stay on board for his answer.

See an ENT MD soon, and your eye MD as soon as possible. If you need a second opinion, find a retinologist at www.aao.org.
