To answer your question it would be necessary to look in your eyes and see what the holes look like. A relatively large number of people have small, round holes that have no vitreous traction and do not require treatment or cause problems. This is especially true when they are on the bottom of the retina. This does not mean that you could not develop a troublesome hole/tear (horseshoe tear) that does require treatment. Hopefully you are under the care of an Eye MD ophthalmologist and not a non-physician optometrist. You can discuss your concerns with your Eye MD next visit. If you develop new flashing, new floaters or loss of peripheral vision get in to your eye MD immediately.
