Does silicone IOL has less chance of decentration ?

Dr Oyakawa,
I have read some articles that the chance of silione/PMMA IOL of decentration more than 0.4mm is the lowest ? Is it true that silicone has less tendency to decentration. I also see a few other benefits of silicone IOL. But what is the drawback except silicone oil cannot be used in the retinal surgery in the future ?

Thanks

I have not personally seen a difference.  As I have mentioned before, if you need silicone oil you will rarely recover good vision.

Thanks for reply.
Basically, you also agree that there is no disadvantage to use silicone IOL except that silicone oil cannot be used in the future. Am I correct ?
I believe silicone is good because it has a lower refractive index and has less chance to introduce dysphotosia.
My surgeon suggested me to use the either Sofport AO or AOV as this matches my SA the best. I think the other advantages is this IOL will not introduce high order abberation even with mild decentration.
Is the violet shield version used more commonly in US ?

Thanks
