Extreme Eye Sensitivity

Is there anyone with light sensitivity after cataract surgery, who has had a success story. If so how long does it take? Will life ever be normal again?

Sensitivity to light is so common its almost normal. With monofocal IOLs and uncomplicated surgery its usually gone in 1 to 3 weeks

After more than five years my left eye is still extremely light sensitive. The ophthalmologist offers no explanation or solution.
