Eye Twitch & Eye Lid Dropped

I have had a continuous twitching under my right eye for over a week now.  Everyone seems to be quick to tell me that it is due to stress.  I havent seen my doctor about this.  This evening I noticed that my eye now looks smaller than my left eye, and the eyelid appears to have lowered and is touching my eyelashes.
Is this due to stress and overtiredness or is it a medical problem that should be investigated?

The twitching eyelid is not a serious problem.  It's called myokymia and while annoying rarely ever a serious problem. Goes away in a few days, a few weeks or a few months.  The droopy eyelid is a different story and needs to be evaluated by an ophthalmologist, its called ptosis.  Please make an appointment with an Eye MD (ophthalmologist) this coming week.
