Eye higher than other! Could any surgery help?

Hi,

I'm a 20 year old boy and always had a complex with my eyes. It really bothers me and i feel like my eye assymetry is really strong. I have a hard time looking at them in a mirror and really wish i could do something about it. I have no trouble with my vision though but it's just aestheticly that it truly bothers me. Is there any surgery to reduce the assymetry or what would you advice?

Thanks a lot for your time

Any photographer will tell you the two sides of everyone's face is different (assymetrical).  You surely are exaggerating what people think that come in contact with you. Suggest you see an Eye MD and discuss your concerns and have an exam. I feel sure you will be advised against any surgery. Then consider seeing a psychiatrist to deal with your underlying psychological problems.

Post a better picture with you not holding your eyes open and not wrinkling your forehead.

Thanks a lot for your fast answer Dr Hagan,

I just would like to know what you think causes my assymetrry, is it one eye just higher than the other or is there one eye deeper in maybe. Do i have a lazy eye or is it normal? And last of all is it just me or is my eye unlevelness stronger than other people's?
