Eye sensitivity to light

For the last year my left eye in particular is very senstive to fragrance, it will itch and then tear extensively, it affects the right eye but not as much.  If I am outdoors in the sunshine It will tear so badly that I cannot see as the sensitivity will force me to shut my eyes.  Last night I was driving and it hit me, slowly at first, then as headlights, tailight came near if I covered my left eye it was better, and I finally put on sunglasses.  I do not have any headaches, just kind of a burning itching and then extreme sensitivity.  It appears today that my pupils are dilated more than they should be.  My eyes were just running wtih tears as well.  Any suggestions?  The

Thanks for your advise. It turned out I had concretions on my upper eye lid.  They have been removed and all is well!!
