Generally amblyopia is not curable in adults. I had lunch with an ophthalmologist this past week and he said he has had patients use Revital vision. Some have had very mild to minimal improvement, some have had no improvement. None have had spectacular improvement. The procedure is time consuming, relatively expensive and whether the improvement will last for years and years is unknown.

My eye surgeon friend found it worked best for post operative lasik patients in their early 40s that wanted to put off wearing reading glasses as long as possible.
