Eyelids clamping shut

Both my left and right eyelids will pull down hard at various times. My upper eyelids are only about halfway open and it can be very, very painful. It seems to be worse when I'm tired, or if someone is talking for long, long periods of time, and now, it's happening while driving. Are these what are called blepharospasms? What can be done about this? What kind of dr. should I see?

I didn't ask this question on the thyroid thread because I didn't think it was a thyroid-related problem. I currently have diagnoses of: MGD, EBMD, ocular rosacea, SLK, conjunctival concretions that have protruded through and had to be removed 3x in less than a year, possible blepharospasms, swelling behind the eye due to thyroid. Oh, and add to that the rapidly changing vision. I can't get new glasses since my vision changes before the glasses can even be made. I am getting a second opinion next week and wanted to find out as much as possible. A lot of it doesn't make sense. Don't worry. I won't post anything again. I won't even visit this site again.
