Drops were placed into the eye prior to my eye examination so I'll make sure next time they don't do that. One optometrist stated it was dry and I was also seen by an ophthalmologist which stated the same thing. A second ophthalmologist took a schwimmer eye test, this dr said my eyes are producing enough tears but the tears are evaporating. I don't see any droopy upper eyelids I just have large bags under the eye. Before my eyes started to feel this way, they began to feel jumpy or twitching. I was going through a lot of stress at this time, also I was wearing eye cosmetics that caused my upper eyelid to get red and scaly with severe itching, The red bump went away once I stopped wearing the makeup. My eye still also itches. Would any of this information be more helpful on what other questions I should ask?
You need to see an eye MD ophthalmologist. when you go in take 4-5 pictures of high quality of your face take 5-15 years ago. Do not let the techs put drops into your eyes until the eye MD sees you.
Show the eye MD the pictures of you. Ask if you have "ptosis" or one eye that droops. Ask if you have baggy upper eyelids bad enough to cause your eye fatigue.
Ask that he/she rule out myasthenia gravis.
Then have the normal eye exam. Ask that dry eyes be ruled out also.
You need to work through the possiblities with a properly trained eye MD physician ophthalmologist.
