Glares and halos are relatively common problems with all multifocal lenses.  They typically subside over time as you neuroadapt, but that varies with the individual.  There are many posts here on the forum about visual effects involving multifocal lenses.  If you are seeing glare from the edges of the IOL, you might wish to have your eye surgeon check to make sure the lens in not decentered.

An increase in floaters is also common after cataract surgery and occurs with any type of IOL.  These will probably settle down over time as well.
