Dear Sir,
It's my mom. You know the normal eye has a sink in the middle well her left eye is swollen in the middles. This happened after she did cataract operation. Now the doctors over here are telling her that they will give her an infection to dry the fluid that is causing the swelling. She is 70 years old.She has no tears in that eye.My question should she take this infection?

Please be more specific.  Is it in the retina?  If so, there are many causes form AMD, diabetes, branch vein occlusion, etc.
