Ghost images after cataract surgery
MY mom had a cataract surgery on her right eye which was done by the doctor, using old method of removing the cataract. ( her cataract was very thick and the doctor was afraid to use the newer method). she also has macular hole operation on that eye 10 years ago.
She seems to be fine after the surgery, but as of today ( 2nd day) after surgery, she starts seeing ghost images when she looks at the cell phone numbers or computer.
is this a normal process of healing? will those ghost images go away in time or this is something we have to worry about and call the doctor?

I would not be concerned. This is very early in the post op period. Call you surgeon.
