Had Lentis Mplus in both eyes recently

I had a Lentis Mplus transplanted in my left eye on 16 January 2012.. It took about 5 days to obtain a good distance and reading ability. I did get ghost and halos but I can see that these are now (5 February 2012)reducing. I have had my right eye done with the same transplant on 3 February 2012 and 3 days later the left eye quality of vision is begining to improve quite rapidly. My vision now with both eyes is very good both distance and reading. I stll have ghost images, not as bad as before, which makes watching TV a little difficult at times, but I this is slowly improving. It is still early days but I am glad that I had the lens implants because the pleasure of good site without glasses is a real bonus.
At night I do see a blur around traffic lights etc and all the spot lights in the supermarkets are a problem but I hope that the improvement that I have seen will continue.

I also had the Mplus operation this year. My experience has been amazing. I can read smaller print than my three children who are all in their forties and need to wear glasses! My eyesight is perfect where ever I look and I haven't worn glasses at all since the operation. I am glad I took the decision to go with a more expensive lens implant. It will save me a fortune in specs, but more than that its just so much less hassle. i'm just waiting for my wife to grow cataracts so we can stop trying to remember where she left her glasses!
