High eye pressure of my sister aged 21!WE ARE ALARMED!
My sister has been diagnosed with 23-25 eye pressure.The Doc has given her eye drops for a week,before going for another checkup will be taken.Shes 21 years of age,of Asian -Indian origin.Her right eye has minus 4.0 & left has minus 4.75 number.We are very worried.Kindly tell us how can we bring down the eye pressure.Except for being underwieght(shes 5 ft 1 inches n 44 kilos)shes doesnt have any prolonging health problems.Please help.

You sister needs to be under the care of a Eye MD ophthalmologist physician. She shouldnot, in my opinion, be under the care of a non-MD optometrist.
SHe needs exams every 3-4 months and a full glaucoma work up: central corneal thickness measurement, Full exam with IOP, optic nerve photographs, gonioscopy, visual field and optic nerve OCT.
Treatment is with drops and/or laser.
